Raw birthstones are used to represent individual loved ones. They are arranged in organic settings through our in-house electroforming and plating process. This operation is intricate, scientific, and done entirely by hand.
To create your Earth Mother Necklace, follow the instructions in the Personalization Box. Click through our product photos to see the guide to birthstones and birth months. Select between 2 to 8 stones. The length of the bar pendant will depend on the number and size of stones and will range between ¾” and 2”. Each raw stone is as unique as the person it represents!

January – Garnet
February – Amethyst
March – Aquamarine
April – Herkimer Diamond
May – Emerald
June – Moonstone
July – (two options) Ruby or Pink Tourmaline (Please note: due to the reactive nature of Rubies during our electroforming and plating process, we reserve the right to use Pink Tourmaline as a substitute in some cases)
August – Peridot
September – Sapphire
October – Opal
November – Citrine
December (two options) – Turquoise or Tanzanite
DISCLAIMER: these are all rough, uncut, unpolished gems and color and clarity will vary. They will not look as bright as say a cut emerald or a cut ruby would.
Variation in color, shape, and size will occur, though you will have the opportunity to specify your preferences in the Personalization box.
Create in the origin metal: Copper.
Copper gives off a warm, earthy glow. This metal is known to oxidize – or darken – over time. Some love this antiqued look, but if you wish to maintain the finish on your Copper jewelry, consider adding a polish cloth to your purchase.
Copper pendants are accompanied by our 14kt Rose Gold-filled 1.1mm Barely There chains.
Create in Silver.
Fine Silver-plated pendants have a copper core. They go through a Copper electroforming process, then receive a “flash” Palladium coating before their final Silver treatment. These hang from our Barely There 1.1mm .925 Sterling Silver chains.
NOTE: Fine Silver is an especially soft metal. Gentle care is essential for long-term satisfaction.
Create in 24k Gold Plate or 18k Rose Gold Plate.
Each 24kt Gold Plated and 18k Rose Gold Plated pendant is initially electroformed in Copper. It receives a “flash” Palladium coating then goes in for its luxurious fine metal treatment. These hang from our Barely There 1.1mm 14kt Gold filled chains.
End with choosing your fine metal preference and chain length.
Production time typically runs 2 weeks. Rest assured; the final product is well worth the wait!
